JPG to PDF with no upload — local batch for photos and scans
Convert images to PDF with no upload: drop JPGs, PNGs, or WebPs, reorder, pick page size, and we render a PDF with pdf-lib in your browser — zero file uploads. Perfect for receipts, IDs, or phone scans that should never transit a cloud. Check DevTools: no image leaves your device.
Works offline after first load. Batch 20 photos into one PDF for email — one download, no server queue. Close the tab and only your PDF remains.
PNG, WebP, and GIF too — when to use each
JPG: Best for photographs and scans — smaller. PNG: Keeps transparency and crisp line art — larger, use for screenshots with text. WebP: Modern, small — we convert to embed. GIF: Animated frames flattened to first image (we preserve visible frame locally). If you mix formats, EncloDoc handles each locally — no cloud re-encode.
Tip: After batching, compress without uploading if your image PDF exceeds portal caps. Need PNG only? Use PNG to PDF — no upload or Image to PDF as superset — same local engine.
Page size and quality tips for image PDFs
Pick A4 for printing, Original for photo ratio, or Fit to keep the smallest file. We embed each image at its native quality — no cloud re-encode to 72 dpi. If the image PDF exceeds 5 MB for portals, compress after: compress without uploading — still local. For PNG line art, prefer PNG input to keep text crisp; for phone photos, JPG is smaller. Check DevTools: batch 20 JPGs — zero file uploads, PDF built in memory.
Batch tip: 20 phone scans at 3 MB each become ~60 MB images; embedding locally yields a ~58 MB PDF — then compress without uploading to 5 MB for portals. All in the browser; compare to upload-based JPG→PDF where 60 MB of receipts cross the wire. Check DevTools: batch 20 JPGs — zero file uploads, PDF built in memory. For PNG line art, prefer PNG input to keep text crisp; for phone photos, JPG is smaller.
